The Company
You will be working for a medium-sized, award-winning and independent Broker, who are based in the heart of the city. They provide their valued clients with a variety of Commercial and Personal Insurance solutions, delivering a high level of service, that is reflected in their exceptional renewal rates. They are seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow a mixed Commercial portfolio, that consists of SME and Mid-Corporate clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 3-4 years of Commercial Insurance experience, and is a great opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler, who is looking to step and and progress.
The Role
- You will be responsible for servicing a mixed Commercial portfolio, biased towards Commercial Combined, SME Package, Liability, Marine and Motor Fleet clients
- You will be processing renewals, new business, mid-term adjustments
- You will issue relevant documentation and produce professional reports
- Actively cross-sell any relevant services to clients and pass on leads to your Line Manager
- You will seek and identify new business opportunities in line with the division’s new business plan
- Ensure that you maintain a high level of technical knowledge and ensure that compliance has been met
- Maintain the Corporate Manager’s portfolio and assist with the renewals and new business
- Assist other departments and share information that may be useful to the team
About You
- You will have a minimum of 3 years of Commercial Insurance – this can be as an Account Executive, or a Commercial Handler who is looking to step up
- Excellent organisation, communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent at working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- The ability to achieve new business and renewals deadlines/targets
- Have a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude
