Customer Service Adviser


The Company

An emergency travel insurer and medical assistance company who work on behalf of Travel Assistance companies based in the Home Counties

The role

To coordinate the response required from overseas or within the UK following a call for assistance from an insured client. Will involve liaising with the insured client, medical and travel departments, the treating hospital and other overseas and UK based outsourced suppliers in order to effectively provide an excellent and cost effective service to both the insured client and our principals.

Day to day

Providing help and assistance to insured clients who become sick or injured during a holiday and are required to return to the UK

Providing the highest level of customer service to all customers that call in

Dealing with all internal and external correspondence in a professional manner

Liaising with the medical department to obtain medical reports from overseas

Arranging medical transportation for patients who require it

Ensuring quotations are obtained by the customer before engaging with an outsourced provider

About you

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Knowledge of the insurance industry (travel insurance desirable)

European language (desirable)
